Stand Up ANEW supports new women’s organizing work by bringing the voices of diverse low and moderate income women into campaigns to improve the lives of women in our neighborhoods, and to develop women leaders who can raise awareness about economic issues.
Stand Up ANEW will feature all women performers, including our SisterPoet, Vanessa German, who will delight the audience with her SPoken Word Performances.
The night will also include a performance by singer/songwriter Anne Feeney with stories about her activism. Many other female musicians and singers will give live performances as well.
